The Skyline Drive stretches over the Shenandoah Valley, a scenic 105 mile drive that encompasses the entire length of the Shenandoah National Park. It takes 6 to 8 hours to drive along this route, from Front Royal to the Rockfish Gap. Transalpina – Romania

Transalpina is the highest road in Romania with an altitude of  2,145m above Sea level in Pasul Urdele. Spanning 146 km in length, it goes through the Carpathian Mountains that contribute to the awe inspiring landscapes along the drive. The road is absolutely  scenic during the fall when the backdrop is dominated by bright colours.
