José Pékerman’s side, Colombia – qualified for the 2018 FIFA World Cup after dramatic turnarounds in the last round of qualifiers. Attacking midfielder James Rodríguez has already captured the eyes of many with his stint in the 2014 world cup. Radamel Falcao, who was down with a severe injury in the previous world cup has a lot to prove this time. Defenders Yerry Mina, Stefan Medina, Davinson Sanchez on their best day, can form walls to not let air pass through their defence let alone a goal.

The Japanese side needs to up their game if they want to pose a healthy competition in the group stages. Shinji Kagawa, who plays for Dortmund has the potential to surprise the opponents with his skillset.
