Six shows you need to watch right now if you love travelling

Series lover? You should try the travel genre if you haven’t already! Here are a few to start with. Some of these shows may not be live now, but they never go old either.

You can find shows from different genres but I’m particularly obsessed with the travel shows on Netflix and prime that are super informative and makes me want to book flights to some faraway island. If you also have wanderlust soul and looking for some real travel inspiration, here are six shows to begin with:

This American TV series featuring the celebrity chef, late Anthony Bourdain is based on food and travel. The show was first aired on April 14, 2013, and has telecasted 96 episodes since then. The series is spread around 11 seasons where Anthony Bourdain travels to some of the unusual places in the world to understand the local culture and customs. The show was nominated for 6 Creative Arts Emmy awards and won 5 of them!

Booze Traveller

Booze Traveller is an American travel show hosted by Jack Maxwell. It has premiered 4 seasons till date and the show revolves around exploring the alcohol-based customs of the different culture. Even if you don’t drink, this show teaches you a lot about different places, people and unique customs and it’s a fun to watch the host taking part in local activities, making new friends and sharing stories with the local people.

Somebody Feed Phil

This show explores the journey of Phil Rosenthal, the Hollywood producer as he embarks on a journey to taste the local cuisine of the world and he isn’t alone in this journey, he is often accompanied with friends and family too. The show offers much more than discovering the culinary delights of various regions. It aims to showcase the true reflection of the culture and the tradition associated with various regions which are reflected through the local food habits.

Stephen Fry in America

The show is spread across 6 parts where the host, actor-comedian Stephen Fry who travels across the US mostly on a cab and covers around 50 states. Watch Stephen Fry meeting new people while getting his hands dirty while he explores new places. The show takes a humorous yet informative angle while providing information about various places that most travellers won’t get to know otherwise. Also, this show features some of the greatest celebrity guests like Morgan Freeman and Sting.
