New Eurail route links Swiss Alps with the Italian Riviera

While there are so many different modes of transport, riding on a train is certainly one of the best ways to travel. The possibility to soak in the beauty of the landscape, awe at the scenery as they change, and the ease of travelling makes it a joyous experience to cherish. If you are one of those travellers who love travelling in the train then here is a wonderful news for you, Eurail has now announced a new train route that links the Swiss Alps with the Italian Riviera.

Eurail is not something new to the travellers, the European train network allows you to explore the whole continent of Europe at your own pace. Now with the announcement of the new route this April 2017, there is more reason to rejoice. By getting a first-class or a second-class Italy-Switzerland pass, you can literally travel anywhere between the two countries, as long as the pass is valid.

From snow-capped mountains to rolling hillsides to lakeside towns to picturesque Italian villages, you get a chance to enjoy a wide-range of terrain right from your seat. But wait, you are not bound to your seats forever, you can ditch them whenever you want and go explore the things that you find interesting along the way and hop on the next train. All this, just with a purchase of one ticket. But, make sure you get on the right train that permits the usage of the pass.

We dare you to walk on the worlds longest pedestrian bridge in Switzerland!

The trains come with huge, curved glass windows and a dining car that serves you with the regional delicacies. As you admire the scenic beauty from the window, stuff yourself with Swiss chocolates and the Italian wine.
