The Footie Hub – 2018 FIFA World Cup Group F

Who’s to ask if all that you want to do after a hectic day at work is to chill and watch the 2018 FIFA World Cup? Football is an addiction and we know it for a fact, don’t we? On that line, we sure hope you’ve been following our “The Footie Hub” series. If not worry less! We here at Pickyourtrail have the links right here:

GROUP A, GROUP B, GROUP C, GROUP D, GROUP E

This blog is about the countries belonging to Group F in the football tournament. Making it more interesting are the places we’d want you to check out! Take a read!

GROUP F: Germany, Mexico, Sweden, South Korea

1. Germany

Winning 10 on 10 games at a streak, Germany sealed their place in the 2018 FIFA World Cup with ease. Coach Joachim Löw has a lot of options to test the calibre of his team, given the abundance of talents. With too many stars nailing their games to perfection, Toni Kroos is the player to be wary of in particular. If the German side is to retain the trophy, they’d be the second nation to have accomplished this task- with Brazil being the first.

Famous Hubs in Germany:

2. Mexico

Mexico fondly referred to as’ El Tri’ have a high-spirited attacking team. The defensive line with the likes of Héctor Moreno is strong enough for them to stop their opponents from scoring. Javier Hernández ( Chicarito ) has to take control of the attack. Winger Hirving Lozano should also be watched out for, giving his excellent stint for PSV Eindhoven in the 2017/2018 season.

Famous Hubs in Mexico:

Hidden Beach
Quetzalcoatl’s Nest
Island Of The Dolls
Giant Crystals of Naica
Pyramid of Kukulcan

3. Sweden

Sweden took charge against Italy and made sure they inched their way into the 2018 FIFA World Cup. After a 1-0 win in Stockholm and a 0-0 draw in Milan- Sweden knocked out Italy in the qualifiers. Even though the nation is buzzing with Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s saga, midfielder Emil Forsberg who plays for the German club RB Leipzig is sure to get the nation to speak about him.

Famous Hubs in Sweden:

  TreeHotel
  Museum Of Failure

4. South Korea

Highly credited for their consistent performance when it comes to getting a spot in the World Cup, South Korea are neat and vibrant side. The Tottenham forward Son Heung-min and Swansea’s star midfielder Ki Sung-yueng are their star players. Given the toughness of the group they are classified under, a qualification to the round of 16 is something the South Koreans would go for.
